United Reformed (formerly Congregational) church, 1760 on site of church
of 1706-7, altered 1870 and 1920s. Sandstone rubble with slate M-roof.
Single storey. Facade has chamfered quoins, and one bay on each side of
gabled porch. Windows are tall with plain stone surrounds and round heads
with keystones and impost blocks. Each rises under a small gable. The
porch has a doorway with moulded pointed surround. The left-hand (east)
wall has twin gables and 2 windows similar to those at the front. Interior
has C18 pulpit, said to have come from St.Michael's on Wyre, of raised and
fielded panels and with a stair of slim turned balusters.
