Coach house, mid-C19. Ashlar, hipped slate roof (with red ridging
tiles). Long rectangular plan. Two storeys with recessed facade
overhung by long front eave of roof supported by slender iron columns
each side of the centre; symmetrical; centre bay of front wall breaks
back, has a segmental-arch wagon entrance with splayed voussoirs and
above this 3 square openings, those at the sides being 12-paned windows;
the right end has a doorway flanked by sashed windows with glazing
bars at ground floor, and above these a square opening flanked by bullseyes
with plain surrounds; the left end matches this except that at ground
floor a large rectangular garage doorway replaces the ground floor door
and left window. Interior: right end retains original stable fittings.
