Bacup stocks, dated 1749. Slotted stone side posts, deep wooden rails with housings for legs of 2 victims. Slab set in paving to front states that stocks were discovered in Tong Lane in 1974. They were re-erected in Yorkshire Street in 1976, before being moved to The Wall of History in 2006.
