House, C18, perhaps originally a pair of cottages. Watershot coursed
sandstone, stone slate roof with one chimney on the ridge and another at thge
left gable. Double-depth 2-bay plan, with outshut to 2nd bay. All 2 storeys;
altered masonry in centre of front wall suggesting position of former doorway;
2 windows each floor, all of 2 lights with square flush mullion, extended sill
and head. Entrance now by plain doorway in rear of left gable wall, which has
a similar doorway at 1st floor to the left of this, a small window at ground
floor and 2 similar windows at 1st floor, and a 2-light mullioned window to
the attic, the left light with original diamond lattice glazing and the other
blocked. Rear has some small windows in the outshut.
