Gate Lodge to Crawshall Hall (q.v.), c.1831. Ashlar, roof concealed by
parapet, rear wall chimney. Small rectangular single-depth plan, 3 bays.
Two storeys, in Gothic style, symmetrical with cornice and parapet; central
porch with Tudor-arched doorway, side wall lancets, all with hoodmoulds, band,
stepped parapet; 2 windows at ground floor and 3 above, one window on each
floor of right gable wall (which is open-pedimented), all these of 2
round-headed lights with hollow spandrels, sills with aprons, hoodmoulds, and
some with original intersecting glazing bars (others casements).
