Farmhouse, (renovated, now house), with attached barn to left, late C18.
Watershot coursed sandstone with quoins, stone slate roof on 2 levels with
chimney at left gable of house. Double depth 2-bay plan, with 3-bay barn to
left, the 1st and 2nd bays projecting. Two storeys; offset left of centre a
rebuilt gabled porch protecting an old board door with wooden lintel, at right
end a board door with plain surround and raised above it a gabled-shaped slab
canopy; ground floor has 2 large casement windows, that on the right with a
stepped head, 1st floor has 4 stepped triple-light windows. Rear wall has a
similar window at ground floor and a 4 other windows. Barn continues to left
with roof at lower level, has a segmental-arched porch to the wagon entrance
in the projecting centre bay, and a plain doorway at the left end; rear
matches front except added out shut to 3rd bay.
