Row of 3 cottages (part of original row of 5; 2 demolished), late C18;
derelict but renovation in progress at time of survey (1984). Watershot
coursed sandstone, stone slate roof with one chimney on ridge and another at
left gable. Single-depth plan, cottage at left end 2 bays, others one bay
each. Two storeys; doorway with plain surround in centre of left cottage, 2
similar doorways side by side at the junction of the others; first 3 bays
have one stepped triple-light window on each floor (that at 1st floor left
with another light to the left anciently blocked), 4th bay has doorway in
place of left light of stepped ground floor window, and a similar triple-light
window at 1st floor, the outer lights blocked. Rear is back to earth,
blind-backed except for square opening at 1st floor. Interiors gutted.
