11/241 South chapel at Whitworth

Cemetery chapel, right of matching set of 3, late 1870s. Rock-faced
sandstone, slate roof with bands of green slates, red ridging tiles,
gabled dormer window on south side, ridge chimney. T-plan: small nave with
north transept; in High Victorian Gothic style. West gable has 7 lancets,
band, and plate-traceried rose above. Interior: not inspected, but
probably has arch-braced kingpost roof with curved struts (as in other
2 chapels).
