Pair of cottages, late C18. Watershot coursed sandstone rubble
(No. 514 colour washed), felted stone slate roof with ridge chimneys at
left junctions. Double-depth plan, each one bay and 2 storeys; doorway
to right with plain surround, and one stepped triple-light window on
each floor. Rear: back doors, windows on both floors (one with a square
mullion), and at 1st floor of No. 512 a blocked doorway above the slab
roof of a small outbuilding.
