Band Stand, Victoria Park

Band stand. 1896. Stone base, cast iron structure. 2 low, stone pillars flanking
5 stone steps up to platform. Octagonal plan. Pillars have voluted capitals.
Shallow frieze with dentillated, moulded cornice. Large, semi-circular dome,
lead roof, with small dome and finial above. Art nouveau with railings with
gate. Glazed at rear.
