7/72 Blacks Tower

Folly tower. A plaque reads Built by/J Stansfield/1890/Restored/1950/Ps 127 v 1.
Approximately 30ft high. Built as a folly. Circular. Coursed rubble. Widely
spaced battlements. Two steps up to plain doorway. Spiral stone staircase inside
leading to observation platform. Prominent hilltop landmark. (Ps 127 v 1 Happy is
the man that hath his quiver full of them).
