11/176 Higher Scholefield Cottage



House. Probably early C18. Originally two cottages. Rubble. Stone slate roof.
Ground floor has 2 windows with chamfered stone mullions, one of 3-lights, and one
of 5-lights; divided by wider mullion. To right is 3-light window with square stone
mullions and surrounds. Doorway has chamfered jambs and head, similar blocked door-
way opposite ridge stack. Above are 2 similar windows with chamfered mullion.
Moulded stack to ridge, another to left hand gable.
