Marsden Hall

House, now a restaurant. c1700. Originally of 2 portions, larger C18 portion
has been demolished. Rubble. Stone slate hipped roof. Two storeys. Rear
ground floor has plain square window, 9-light stone mullion window, plain door-
way, 6-light similar and 3-light similar. 1st floor has 1 large window with
moulded surround featuring moulded lions head, to right is 9-light stone mullion
window and 5-light similar (last light blocked), with two small square windows
above door. Sundial included from which the time may be ascertained in 17 dif-
ferent places in the world. Four stacks, including one very large one on ridge.
