Row of cottages of mid C18 date. Faced in mid C19 with red and yellow
brick probably with materials from an old building. Nos 8 and 10 are painted.
Stone slate roof to No 8. Nos 4 and 10 have modern tiles and modern doors.
Eaves cornice 6 windows with hung sashes, straight stone arches with keystones
and stone cills. Nos 4 and 10 have good early C19 shop fronts.
[The Wheatsheaf Public House and Nos 4 to 10 (even) form a group.
