SK 91 SW THE LEAS (North side)

7/69 No. 12


House of 1710 with C19 alterations. Coursed rubble stone with stone
dressings and Welsh slate roof with moulded stone central ridge and end
stacks. Stone plinth and stone coped gables. 1½ storeys of 3 C19 striped
ironstone and limestone ½ dormers with 3/3 sashes. Below from left :
3/3 sash, 2/4 stair sash, 3/3 sash, 2 stone steps up to porch with part
glazed door, and 3/3 sash. Stone sills. Over porch is stone tablet
with 'Thomas Jackson 1710'. Extension to right of lesser interest.
Chamfered stopped beams and encased inglenook inside.
