SK 81 NE CHESTNUT FARM HOUSE

GV II

House of late C17/C18. Coursed rubble stone with plinth in part, quoins
and C20 tile roof with brick ridge and end stacks. Stone coped gables.
L plan, wing projecting forward on left. 1½ storeys of 2 wide, low 4/4
sash windows with similar half-dormer over. Part glazed door to left.
On wing inner return a 2-light and a 1-light casement with 4/4 sash half-
dormer over. A 2-light casement both floors on wing front gable end.
Wooden lintels and stone sills. Beams inside.
