House and shop. C17 with C18 front incorporating C19 shop. Of coursed rubble with
ashlar west end. North front rendered and lined in imitation of ashlar. Plain tiled
roof with coped gables on decorative kneelers. Stone west end stack with brick shaft
and later secondary brick stack, and brick east end stack. Two storeys, 2 windows
wide. South front has 2 3-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows with
much-weathered cornices over, and a blocked single-light window below. East end has
similar but smaller blocked light in gable. North front has 3 sash windows, in raised
architraves with keystones, the 2 to the first floor, 6/6, retaining thick glazing
bars. C19 shop front curves around north-east corner, with 5-light windows flanking
corner entrance framed by Doric columns supporting fascia.
