Cottage, late C16 in origin, heightened C18 or C19. Of ironstone, large square blocks
to ground floor and smaller blocks above, with Welsh slate roof and brick end stacks.
Two storeys and attics. Two window range. Central door in fine moulded architrave.
Ground floor has 3-light casement windows and small fire window to left. First floor
has sash windows. Two gabled 2-light casement dormers. Interior: ground floor left
hand room has massive beam with moulded stops and bressumer (perhaps reused) with
similar stop to inglenook fireplace. Original roof slope survives in part to rear,
and central truss of previous roof survives within first floor rooms.
