6/192 Stables at Luffenham Hall



Stables. C16, refenestrated C18. Coursed rubble stone with quoins, stone
dressings, and timber framing and Collyweston slate roof, hipped on left
end. 2 ranges, that to left of 2 storeys, stone below and 3 bays of close
studded timber framing above. Here 2 doors. Below are doors and 2-light
window: lintels with keystones. Range to right, late C16, of 2 storeys,
but lower. 2 doors, 2-light window, 2 1-lights with stone frames and
stone steps up to 1st floor door where also stone framed window. Upper
part of rear wall timber framed, with close studding rendered.
