Cottage, C17 in origin, of coursed rubble with Collyweston stone slate roof,
gable-end to street. Moulded stone stack at south end and massive external stack
to east flank. 1½ storeys. Gable end has C20 window in blocked doorway to
right-hand side, 3-light C19 ovolo-mullioned windows to the left and above, and
chamfered oval panel in gable. West flank has small rectangular chamfered blocked
window to left, C20 French windows to right and 2-light casement window above.
Present entrance in C20 porch to rear. Interior has massive fireplace with
chamfered stone jambs and timber lintel to ground floor, and small Tudor-arched
stone fireplace to front first floor room. Range of C18 outbuildngs to north, now
incorporating garage.
