3/23 Hillside Farmhouse


Farmhouse, original C18 2-unit range extended to left later. Coursed rubble
with angle quoins. Stone tiled roof. Blocked central doorway and canted
wood bay window to left, 12-light sash window to right with voussoirs.
Sash windows above have flat timber.lintels. Doorway on east side wall in
wood canopied porch, in extension behind the main gabled range. To the
left on the front elevation, a single bay extension, also of 2 storeys,
with sash windows with voussoirs, and a hipped roof, extending in 2 bay
wing to rear with full-height canted bay windows and 6-light sash windows.
Axial stack, and another on rear gable of wing.
