Pair of cottages, late C18. Coursed sandstone rubble, and thatched roof. 1½ storeys with 4 dormers Each of 2-unit plan. No. 27 is entered from the side. Street facade has entrance to No. 29 and 4 casement windows with flat timber lintels, chamfered to No. 29. Brick gable end stacks.
