SK 90 NW HAMBLETON

8/119 Lodge Farmhouse

Farmhouse, probably with core of C17, though largely of C18. Coursed
rubble with string course, and some ashlar work to upper right hand
section. Angle quoins. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Door now in gable wall
but possibly formerly in centre of elevation, now a small window.
3 casement windows, that to ground floor right having a stone hood
mould - old brick gable end stacks. C19 modillion eaves cornice, and slate
roof. Outshut to rear contains central doorway. Stone heads to ground floor
windows, and 3 dormers above.
