Cottage, late C16 - early Cl7. Coursed rubble with angle quoins, with
large stepped stones in gables, and coping. Thatched roof. 1½ storeys,
2 unit plan, with doorway moved from original position at left of elevation,
to centre. Renewed casement windows. Single dormer above is ashlar.
Inside, Inglenook with firewindow and carved spice cupboard in left hand
gable. Right hand room has carved,stone fireplace and a door from
Loddington hall.
