8/166 Barn in Rectory grounds
and parish conduit


Barn, early C19. Rubble with brick dressings. Single storey symmetrical
with central pedimented gabled bay with large doors. To each side of this,
a 3 bay range with central door and flanking windows. All openings have
brick gothick arches, with stone keystones. Pantiled roof. Gable faces
street, and in adjoining wall, a round-arched recess contains a lead water
tap and a stone above is inscribed "Parish Conduit, 1858".
