SK 90 NW WHITWELL MAIN ROAD

8/168 Home Farmhouse

GV II

House, probably C18, but extended in C19. L shaped, with 1 unit range
and a gable facing the street, and a longer wing behind. Main range is
rubble with some quoins to angles and openings, and a pantiled roof.
6-panelled door with overlight, and wood mullioned windows. Right hand
wing has stone gable onto street, but is brick to rear, with Welsh slate
roof. On its side elevation, 2 C19 dormers with finials.
