8/169 The Noel Arms'

GV II

Inn, formerly house, probably C17. Rubble with angle quoins and large
stepped stones to gables. Thatched roof. 1½ storeys, with dormers.
2 unit with baffle entry to right, now blocked. 2 3-light casement
windows and graffiti date of 1770 scratched on a quoin. To right, a
single storey thatched addition now contains the main doorway. Within
beamed ceilings and an inglenook.
