Barn. C17 with C18 bay at S end. C17 part is of banded ironstone and limestone
rubble with large quoins; C18 bay is of ironstone rubble with limestone plinth,
and has coped gable. Welsh slate roof. 2 C17 bays have board door with C19-C20
brick arch to centre of road side, and former cart entry opposite. Cart entry
now gives access to C20 concrete block shed with corrugated iron roof and shoots
to grain bins. Shed is not of special interest. Original N gable end has 2 rows
of small triangular openings, and high vent slit. C18 bay is open on E side and
has small loft door in S gable. C17 part retains original tie-beam and collar
trusses. Barn is adjacent to site of former manor house.
