Pair of cottages of C17/C18 origin. Painted brick, part timber framed with
plain tile roof, ridge stack, right end stack and left end front corner
stack. 1 1/2 storeys. No. 21 has timber frame of 2 bays in 8 panels with
rendered nogging. 2 C20 windows and dormer with C20 window. On left end
truss gable with C20 windows and door. C20 outshut and dormer to rear.
No. 23 has occasional timber showing with door, 1, 2 and 3-light casements,
and dormer with 3-light casement and clasped rafters. C20 extension,
casements and dormer to rear. Listed for group value with No. 21.
