6/76 No. 61 Turnover Bridge
GV II
Canal bridge of early C19, partly rebuilt. Original bridge probably
of coursed rubble. Now part of arch, parapet and coping of stone, otherwise
red and blue brick rebuilding. A turnover bridge, ramps mostly surviving,
No. 61 on Ashby de la Zouch Canal. Forms a canal group with No. 60
bridge and Snarestone Pumping Station.
