House mainly C18, on C16 to C17 core with C19 alterations. Red brick with
stone plinth and brick dentilled eaves, and plain tiled roof with upper
part of brick stacks rebuilt. 2 storeys and attic. L plan, with base
on left projecting gable ended to street. Renewed C20 wooden mullion and
transom casements (with top lights on ground and 1st floor) under cambered
brick lintels. Main range of 3 windows: central round headed doorway
with radiating fanlight, 6 fielded panelled door, and renewed round headed
canopy: 3-light side windows and 2-light 1st floor centre. Right gable
end of 2 2-lights both floors and attic 3-light. Left projecting inner
wall of 3-light both floors. Gable end with 3-light both floors and attic.
To left of this is a 2 storey extension, lower part contemporary, higher
C19. To further left a C19 1 storey extension. Rear symmetrical with
hipped roof staircase projection (C20 outshut to right) and projecting
stepped wall stack either side. A later C18/C19 rebuilding or extension
to right. Projecting wing has ridge stack and on outer wall a section of
C16/C17 ashlar consisting of wall stack with stepped side and 2 1-lights
(1 blocked). Interior: C18 staircase with turned balusters, some C18
doors with 2 fielded panels and rediscovered, possibly C17, interior
1-light with square leaded panes.
