9/26 The Old Clubhouse

GV II


House. Late C18. Brick with plain tiled roof. 2 storeyed, 4 bays, the
central pair beneath the pedimented gable containing doorway to the left in a
stuccoed porch with entablature and tuscan shafts. Windows are set within but
not filling, tall openings with gauged brick heads with ogival decoration to
their undersides. They are of cast iron, with many small panes and a small
central opening light. Upper windows have similar heads but are 12 pane
sashes. Dentilled band to pedimented central gable. Gable end stacks.
