House and frameshop buildings to rear. Late C18 and early to mid-C19.
Red brick on stone plinth; slate roof; brick end stacks. 3 storeys
with toothed brick eaves course; reduced proportions to second floor.
Regular 3-window front; glazing bar sashes with gauged brick heads and
raised key blocks, except mid-C20 top opening casements on second
floor; central first and second floor windows are blind and within a
full height arched recess (c.f. No. 7 High Street). Central 6-panel
door in heavy reeded surround with low entablature hood on heavy volute
brackets.
