The Red Lion Public
House (No 164)


Public House. Late C18 with later alterations and additions. Red
brick; concrete tile roof; brick end stacks. 2 storeys and attic with
first floor and eaves bands. 2-window front of C20 casements within
C18 segmental-headed openings. Central door with rectangular overlight
beneath a segmental arch. Late C19 two-storey, single bay extension to
the left with matching windows to those of the main building, and a
modillion eaves course.
