Top House (formerly known
as Hill Top Farmhouse)

House. Late C18 or early C19. Red brick; slate roof; 4 brick stacks,
2 at the ends and one each to left and right of centre. 3 storeys with
moulded wooden eaves cornice to a low parapet; reduced proportions to
second floor. Regular 4 window front: C20 top opening casements in
original openings. Central 6-panel door with blind radiating fanlight
in arched surround with flanking half-columns and open pediment.
