House. Probably early C17 altered C18-C20. Cruck-framed with red brick and
plain-tile roof with brick ridge stacks. Rubble stone plinth. Single storey
and attic raised to 2 storeys C20. Gable facing, entrance to left in long
2-window range. 4-unit plan including integrated stable to left. 2-light and
3-light casement over 2-light casements with brick cambered arches. Central
part-glazed door under similar arch. Stable door to left. On right gable end
facing street a 3-light casement on each floor. Rear mostly blank but for 2
small casements. Interior: 2 pairs of cruck blades, probably full and slightly
truncated at base. 2 open fireplaces, one with spice cupboards and a partly
wattle & daub hood over. C19 marbled slate fireplace in grounds floor room
facing street.
