Circa 1700. Red brick house. Slate roof. Front with three gables, centre
gable smaller. Two storeys and attic. Five windows, brick segmental
arches, restored sashes with glazing bars in moulded casing, attic windows
the same but smaller, in gables. Central doorway, brick segmental arch,
rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, heavy moulded doorcase, fielded
panel door. North elevation two gables. Slate roofs.
Good INTERIOR: panelled hall and landing with elliptical archway, panelled ground and
first floor front rooms. Good contemporary dog-leg staircase on all floors,
moulded string, twisted balusters and twisted newels, moulded hand-rail
and ball finial, panelled dado.
