1871. Sculptor J. B. Philip. Standing figure in stone with raised arm,
on tall circular pedestal of polished granite. Robern Hall 1764-1831,
born at Arnesby near Leicester, Baptist clergyman and outstanding preacher,
advocated freedom of Press, influenced by French Revolution to speak against
corrupt government, supporter of Joseph Priestley.
