Great Meeting Schools
SK 5804 NE 1/234
Dated 1859. Red and yellow brick. Slate roof, gabled ends with stone
coping. Two storeys. T shaped on plan, pointed-arch windows, casements
with glazing bars. Lower wing at centre, probably a little earlier with
stone shield in end gable with inscription:- "Great Meeting Schools established
1708". Over the centre of main range is timber octagonal bell-turret
with short lead-clad spire with weather-vane.
