Rear elevation of Nos 7 and 9 Granby Street, a disused cinema (Picture House). Built 1924. Italianate design. Ashlar. Three storeys. Ground floor rusticated. First floor large tripartite round-arch windows with Tuscan pilasters and keyblocks with large cills on consoles. Second floor five small square windows in moulded architraves with panels between and moulded cill course. Heavy and widely overhanding eaves cornice with large modillions to soffit. Roman tile hipped roof. Ground floor two wide stage or vehicle entrances.

Nos 7- 9 Every Street, together with the Town Hall, the Fountain and War Memorial in Town Hall Square and No 10, Nos 6-8,The Royal Hotel, Nos 17, 19 and 12 Horsefair Street, and all listed buildings in Bishop Street form a group.
