Former Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School. Built 1573. Much restored and
altered. Stone rubble with late C16 roof of tiles, steep-pitched with
gabled ends. The five hipped dormers have been removed. Two storeys.
Four rectangular cement-rendered mullion windows of three-lights and two
spaces with plaques with almost obliterated inscriptions now restored.
A smaller plaque. All with cement-rendered stone frames. Rectangular
on plan. Cement-rendered end walls. A.M.
