Mid to late C19. Gothic style. Small building, detached, on island site in Humberstone Gate. Stone rubble with ashler dressings. Steep-pitched slate roof with moulded coping to gable ends with stone finials. Two storeys.

Ground floor central moulded pointed-arch entrance and flanking two-light pointed arch windows with continuous impost mould. Moulded string course above. Three first floor windows in moulded shouldered architraves, centre smaller, above are two small high-pitched gables with bargeboards forming pointed arch and pierced at apex. Moulded eaves cornice. At each end there is a window with three pointed arch lights and circular panel above in gable. Chimney stacks at rear (south) with stone caps.
