The Royal Infirmary (1771

1771. Red brick. Three storeys. Two-three-two windows, all sashes with
glazing bars, flat brick arches. Centre projects under pediment. Cill
bands long sash windows on ground floor. Central one-storey brick semi-circular
bow window with three sashes, cornice and short parapet with capping over.
Eaves cornice hipped slate roof. Round window in tympanum. Two storey
wings set back at each end, and incorporated into late C19 building.
