Church of St Matthew
SK 5905 5/161
1867. Sir G. G. Scott, architect. Gothic style. Built of granite with
quoins of red brick and stone dressings. Hall church with nave, aisles
and chancel. At west three gables. Nave west window is five lancets
stepped over west door. The tower not built. Interior: tall nave arcade
in C13 style of six arches resting on alternate round piers of stone and
square brick piers. Medieval font from Dalby.
