NEW WALK (South West Side),
23, 25 and 25a

(Formerly listed as NEW WALK, No 23 (Ivyholme), No 25)

Pair of two-storey early C19 stucco houses with deeply recessed one-window
centre. Two windows each with moulded stucco architraves to No 23, No
25's architraves have been removed. All sashes with glazing bars. Ground
floor has two small three-light segmental bays with heavy entablature.
Rusticated quoins. Wide eaves cornice on moulded modillions in stucco.
Low-pitched hipped slate roofs. Doors at sides invisible from front.

Nos 7 to 29 (odd) and No 37 (Provincial House) form a group.
