Early C19 red brick. Slate roof with gabled ends. Paired modillions to
eaves soffit. Three storeys. One window each, flat rubbed brick arches,
sashes without glazing bars. No 31 plain doorway with rectangular fanlight
No 33 has mid C19 wood pilastered doorcase with heavy cornice on brackets.
Included for group value.

Nos 31 to 61 (odd), No 1 West Street together with Nos 1, 2 and 3 Museum
Square, No 47 New Walk, the Museum and Nos 58 to 64 (even) New Walk form
a group around Museum Square.
