(South West Side)
SK 5903 9/90 25.7.74 Nos 43 and 45
Early C19. Red brick. Slate roof. Three storeys. Two windows each,
flat rubbed brick arches, sashes with glazing bars, sills. Paired central
doorcases with flat pilasters and plain entablature with heavy cornice,
semi-circular fanlights with radial bars, and 5-panel doors. Wood eaves
cornice, No 43 replaced with eaves board. Included for group value.

Nos 31 to 61 (odd), No 1 West Street together with Nos 1, 2 and 3 Museum
Square, No 47 New Walk, the Museum and Nos 58 to 64 (even) New Walk form
a group around Museum Square.
