Early C19. Red brick. Slate roof, paired modillions to eaves soffit.
Three storeys. Three windows, centre blind, rubbed flat brick arches,
sills, sashes with glazing bars, ground floor boarded over, second floor
converted to casements. Paired central doorcase with flat pilasters and
plain entablature with heavy cornice, doors boarded over. Included for
group value.
Nos 31 to 61 (odd), No 1 West Street together with Nos 1, 2 and 3 Museum
Square, No 47 New Walk, the Museum and Nos 58 to 64 (even) New Walk form
a group around Museum Square.
