Dated 1873. Gothic style. Red brick with stone dressings. Steep-pitched
slate roof. Two storeys. Corner site with splayed angle with corbelled
first floor with gable flanked by round stone shafts with finials, stone
coping to gable with finial containing arched panel with shield and relief
carving, below is two-light first floor window with pilaster shaft to
mullion. Ground floor corner entrance heavy moulded pointed arch. Right-hand
return, parapet, small gable to right with date, large stone mullion/transom
ground floor windows with continuous drip mould, first floor small rectangular
stone windows. Left-hand return to Grey Friars, wide flat brick buttresses
between windows, ground floor two large three-light stone mullion/transom
windows, first floor two gothic arcaded four-light windows with moulded
pointed arches and pilaster shafts. Brick chimneys with stone caps.
