House.Early C19, probably a remodelling of an earlier building. Refurbished
C20 W.part of house is rendered and colourwashed, E part is brick.Slate
roof;bargeboards;brick chimneys with dentil caps and bases, some rendered,
others with pairof chamfered shafts.2 storeys,5-bays S. front, the 4
right bays gabled,left bay slightly set back. Left bays have jettied upper
storey;2 brick bays at right end have first floor band course. Tripartite
sashes, renswed C20, those in gabled bays with Tudor hoodmoulds. Left bay
has 2-light barred wooden casement to ground floor.Bays 2 and 3 have
C20 French doors with flanking tall single lights.N.side has central
2-storey gabled porch projection with 4-centred arch.Later C19
extensions project to left.
